Demolition Comedy is dark as of February 14, 2003.


"Stand-up, Improv, Alternative Comedy " - you name it, we showcase it. This is high energy comedy. The show runs 90 minutes and is hosted by an emcee with music pumping in between each act. The production moves quickly as each act has 8 minutes to perform.

Audience participation is encouraged by a sound cue at 7 minutes, warning the act - and the audience, they have 1 minute left to wrap it up! Note: If the comic is still speaking at the second sound cue at 8 minutes, they are omitted from the ballots which will be cast for the "Best Set of the Night".

The audience will vote by ballot immediately after the show for the act that they felt had the "Best Set of the Night", and a prize will be given to the act. Probably a return booking. Or another beer. Just kidding... the winning comic will get a percentage of the door revenue for the night. The comics enjoy performing at Demolition Comedy because the format allows them to put together a tight, timed, professional set - exactly what they are expected to do on a television show.

Each audience member who purchases a ticket to the show will be eligible to vote for the "Best Set of the Night" and will receive a raffle ticket that is good for a door prize to be drawn after the show...
